Prep for UN High Level Sept 23 Meeting: UNESCO Global Consultation on ICT, Disabilities and Development

On 23 September 2013 the UN General Assembly will hold the High Level Meeting on Disabilities and Development (HLMDD). Looking into contributing to this meeting, ITU and UNESCO, together with G3ICT, IDA, Telecentre.org, the Broadband Commission and Microsoft launched a global consultation to capture recommendations from all stakeholders on the contribution that information and communications technologies (ICT) can help to achieve the autonomous participation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society.
